Spark Plug Replacement On A Snow Blower
This blog is a step-by-step instruction for replacing the spark plug on a Troy-Bilt snowblower. The most common reasons for replacing the spark plug are when the engine won’t start, is hard to start, runs poorly, or stalls.
Replacement
Before you begin the replacement, you need to make sure the engine has cooled and remove the snow blower’s start key from the ignition. You have to first remove the wire and boot from the spark plug.
Step 1: Use a socket or a spark plug wrench to loosen and remove the old spark plug.
Step 2: Install the new spark plug by threading it into the cylinder head, secure it with the socket or spark plug wrench. Be careful not to over tighten or damage the plug itself.
Once secured, attach the spark plug wire and boot, and now your snowblower should be ready for use.
